I’ve been working as a freelance graphic designer & comic book creator since 2014. I'm a web developer, editor, artist, writer, letterer, and colorist. I produce live streams on Facebook, podcasts and art tutorials. Artwise, studying drawing in perspective and improving my skills in producing art digitally. One of my latest project Indie Creator Animated Showcase where I’m creating Motion Comics and animation to showcase independent creators' work.
I'm a fan of great storytelling whether it's a novel, live-action/animated movie or comics. There is a lot to be learned by studying missteps that may have been made, as well as what has been done correctly. That is why the reviews you see me post on this site will not be solely dedicated to the latest or newest works. I will try concentrating on the strengths or the flaws of the stories I'm reviewing, to help point out what should be emulated and what to avoid.
Helping people understand that creating art is not only about using a pencil and paper or paint and canvas is also one of our goals. There are many tools and techniques that can be used to unleash your inner artist. Some are very simple and some take a little time and practice but once learned you will be amazed by the results.
Though a fan of comics, I also have other interests. There may be topics covered in an article or opinion piece posted that is not specifically a how-to or a link to specific resources. Topics like how science fiction and fantasy are affecting research in the real world, or how written and visual works are used to highlight social/political issues currently affecting us. Art and writing can be very meaningful tools to all of us and it's crucial to try to help and cultivate the next generation of creators.
